Voice Chat

Wilderion servers have Simple Voice Chat — voice communication right in the game!

🎤 Features​

  • Proximity chat — voice is heard in a radius around you
  • Groups — create private and public channels
  • Unlimited distance — communicate through channels at any distance

📥 Installation​

Mod Required

You need to install the mod on your client for voice chat to work!

Step 1: Install Fabric​

  1. Download Fabric Installer
  2. Run and select your game version
  3. Click "Install"

Step 2: Install Fabric API​

  1. Download Fabric API for your version
  2. Place the file in the mods folder

Step 3: Install Simple Voice Chat​

  1. Download Simple Voice Chat for your version
  2. Place the file in the mods folder

⚙️ Configuration​

After installation, press V (default) to open the voice chat menu.

👥 Groups​

Create groups to communicate at any distance:

  1. Press V to open menu
  2. Go to "Groups" section
  3. Create a new group or join an existing one

❓ Troubleshooting​

Voice chat doesn't work​

  1. Make sure mod versions match the server version
  2. Check that Fabric API is installed
  3. Check microphone settings in mod menu
  4. Make sure microphone is not blocked by system

Can't hear other players​

  1. Check that you're not in "Deafen" mode
  2. Make sure volume is not at zero
  3. Check that other players are within hearing range

Others can't hear me​

  1. Check that microphone is selected correctly
  2. Make sure you're not in "Mute" mode
  3. Check voice activation indicator
